Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains introduce an exciting new event space. Overlooking stunning views of the lower lake, Gedumba is a new purpose built event centre. It is filled with natural light that can accommodate up to 500 delegates banquet style.

We have partnered with Encore Event Technologies as our event staging services provider. Encore can work with you to determine your specific requirements and equipment needs. Therefore they provide audio visual, lighting, technical production management and styling, theming, set design, screen content through to live and on-demand webcasting. As a result, Encore have a reputation for seamlessly delivering engaging event experiences.

Gedumba is the clan name for the top of the ridge which encompasses modern day Katoomba and Leura. As a result, Gedumba refers to the place of the gaduu fern which was found in the area where the Gedumba Creek and Cox’s River met.
