From Saturday 26 September to Monday 12 October 2026, Fairmont Resort comes alive with family friendly activities, entertainment and dining, with plenty to keep little ones, and grown ups busy throughout your stay.
Enjoy everything from cookie decorating, craft sessions and pizza making to magic shows, reptiles, climbing, face painting and the Fairmont Express. Families can also explore the resort gardens, lakes and hedge maze or take to the ice at the Blue Mountains Ice Skating Rink.

Decorate three cookies with colourful icing and sprinkles.

Pizza Making
Kids can build their own pizza with a selection of their favourite toppings at Azzurro.

Magic Show
Enjoy plenty of surprises and laughs with Magic Craig in this family-friendly show.

Meet snakes, lizards and other fascinating reptiles with Brett the Reptile Man.

Get creative with the craft of the day and take your creation home.

T-Shirt Craft
Design and personalise your own T-shirt to take home as a school holiday keepsake.

Ropes & Climbing
Take on a one-hour climbing session at Fairmont Adventure Park.
$15 per child | $20 per adult
Suitable for ages 10+. A completed waiver is required before participating. The climbing wall may close during adverse weather.

Face Painting
Add some extra colour to the holidays with face painting for all ages.

Rainbow Slide
Grab a giant ring and race down our colourful Rainbow Slide.
1 ticket per ride
No booking required. Closed during wet weather.
All aboard! Younger guests can ride the Fairmont Express through the resort grounds, around the lake and back to the station.

Family Dining During the School Holidays
Make dinner part of the experience with special family friendly themed buffets at Jamison’s Restaurant.
Enjoy Mexican flavours on Thursdays, Asian inspired dishes on Fridays and a modern Australian buffet on Saturdays, with plenty of options for the whole family.
