The Fairmont is currently undergoing a renovation that encompasses the entire MGallery resort: all guest rooms and suites have new Mybed by Sofitel mattresses, the conference spaces have new carpets and new neutral coloured acoustic walls, new digital projector in the 128-seat auditorium, plus new furniture in the popular Embers restaurant and new furniture in the adults only private Eucalypt dining room. The improvements also include a new roof on the indoor pool and Ubika Day Spa as well as a refurbishment of the main building roof. Guests can enjoy a new luxurious Swedish inspired sauna as part of the heated indoor pool facilities. The hotel remains fully operational during the renovation process with minimal impact on guests.
The Fairmont has 222 beautifully appointed guest rooms, that meet the needs and requirements for all guests – whether for the business or leisure traveler. Further, as part of the new direction for the Fairmont Resort, over the coming months the conference spaces will have new Vittoria coffee machines, new TVs for the guest rooms, updated furniture in Sublime Lounge, a full refurbishment of the resort style outdoor pool, plus the opening of the 16 treatment Ubika Day Spa by year end.
