Still a luxurious resort that we recommend highly...
FAIRMONT TRANSFORMATION UPDATES
For over 20 years, the Fairmont Resort in the Blue Mountains has been regarded as one of Australia’s premier conference and event venues, with its inspirational location overlooking the Jamison Valley and its vast range of sporting and recreational activities complementing an extensive range of meeting venues.
Now nearing completion of an extensive renovation project that has seen the hotel launch a new 128 seat auditorium mid 2012, the auditorium is state of the art and has intelligent lighting, surround sound and ‘Gold Class’ style seating. The refurbishment and new carpet in the Pre Function & Grand Ballroom areas has added a stylish and fresh classic look to the entire formal function area. A new outdoor dining area adjacent to Embers and Jamison’s called ‘The Terrace’ means our Guests can now enjoy drinks, casual dining and functions in the great outdoors, enjoying the Bush and Valley vistas. Lastly, there are final plans underway to start work on the ‘Day Spa’.
The renovation project is part of the resort’s rebranding to the boutique MGallery label of distinctive hotels and will see the hotel introduce a stronger regional focus that makes the most of its World Heritage-listed setting and of local suppliers to give events a greater sense of place.
